YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Robert G. Allen, D.D.S., a 1985 graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, has been a solo practitioner in Rockwall, Texas since 1987. He completed the Academy of Gp Orthodontics’ 12-Session Course under Dr. Ron Austin in 1994, and received his Diplomate from the Academy in 1996.

Dr. Allen has been a host dentist and clinical instructor for the Academy since 1992. He has actively practiced orthodontics since1989, completing over 500 Tip-Edge cases, carrying a caseload of over 50 patients annually.

Although he attributes the mainstay of his orthodontic training to the Academy and more specifically to Dr. Austin, he has attended over 500 hours of orthodontic continuing education, including courses and lectures from Dr. Charlie Yates, Dr. Pete Kesling, Dr. Chris Kesling, Dr. Robert Gerety, and Dr. Tom Mulligan, among others.

He is a current member of the North Texas Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of Gp Orthodontics, the Air Transport Arm of Christ, and Lakepointe Church.

ACADEMY OF Gp ORTHODONTICS
Offering comprehensive orthodontic continuing education courses where students treat patients, not typodonts. Our 12-session course meets one weekend every two months and consists of a Friday classroom instruction and a Saturday comprehensive clinical hands-on training utilizing the Differential Straight-Arch Technique. This technique employs differential forces and mechanics and is separated into three main stages. Each stage has its own objectives which are explained in detail in the course text. A highly qualified team of instructors, clinical instructors, and hosts provide on-going support and invaluable comprehensive clinical hands-on training with direct patient treatment. Courses are limited in number of participants.

Course tuition is easily recovered by beginning three-four cases in your own practice. The tuition for the 12-session course (minimum of 145 CDE hours) is $14,400 plus two years of Academy membership for $590. See if this course is right for you! Attend the Introductory Orthodontic Session (7.5 CDE hours) for $150.
